Role Overview:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in defining requirements, designing, building, and maintaining data center technology components, with a strong focus on EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration. You will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure stability, performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions for various challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMC SAN Administration, providing guidance and leadership to the team.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and participate in key decision-making processes.
• Provide technical solutions for both the immediate team and across different departments.
• Perform regular assessments of infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain SAN solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAN performance issues and proactively prevent potential problems.
• Assist in capacity planning, scalability, and overall management of the SAN infrastructure.
• Collaborate with network and system administrators for seamless integration of SAN solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SAN technologies.
• Train and mentor junior team members to help develop their technical skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
• Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with Commvault Backup Administration.
• In-depth knowledge of SAN architecture, protocols, and best practices.
• Expertise in configuring and managing EMC SAN devices, including SAN zoning and fabric management.
• Familiarity with storage virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve SAN-related issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and experience in data center management.
• Good knowledge of VMware, RedHat Linux, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Active Directory is advantageous.
• A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Engineering is preferred.
