Job Description

Responsibilities:

Install and configure WebSphere Application Server software in your target environment.
Routine administrative tasks such as starting and stopping servers, monitoring server health, and managing server resources.
Troubleshoot basic issues such as startup errors, connectivity issues, and application deployment errors.
Create and manage user accounts, roles, and privileges to control access and security within WebSphere Application Server.
Monitor server performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory usage, and response time, and report anomalies and performance issues.
Review and analyze server logs to identify errors, warnings, or other issues that may impact server or application performance.
Configure security settings such as SSL certificates, authentication mechanisms, and authorization policies.
Apply patches, updates, and fixes to WebSphere applications.
Stay current with the latest security patches, updates, and fixes for WebSphere Application Server released by IBM.
Plan and execute patch management activities to minimize disruption to your production environment.
