As a Finance & Admin Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing profitable operations of one of the world's most recognized and respected companies. Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Practitioner in the Order to Cash (O2C) process, you will be responsible for handling Accounts Receivable activities, including posting and balancing daily cash applications, preparing journal entries, filing records, and performing general account reconciliations. Responsibilities:
- Analyze receivable accounts and investigate entries while preparing for audits.
- Handle netting instructions, direct debit runs, and Oracle updates, including the rejection of direct debits.
- Investigate unapplied payments, correct discrepancies, and ensure proper allocation.
- Provide information related to customer payments, refunds, and other miscellaneous accounts receivables inquiries.
- Ensure that client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and timelines are consistently met.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- A Commerce Graduate with 2-4 years of experience in the Order to Cash (O2C) process, with a strong foundation in basic accounting principles.
- Experience in participating and collaborating in team meetings to gather and share information.
- Ability to achieve individual and business metrics.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting accuracy and timeliness goals.
- Hands-on expertise in increasing cash application automation, enhancing touchless cash settlement, and reducing cash application complexity and instability.
- Prior experience monitoring customer account statuses and cash application results against defined metrics, goals, and objectives.
- Proven ability to build and utilize reports to analyze relevant account information.
- Experience in collaborating and negotiating with customers, sales teams, and finance functions to drive improvements.
- Working knowledge of identifying and implementing action plans and process improvements under guidance.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with any ERP software as an end user.
- A self-driven individual who can work independently towards agreed targets and goals.
- Proven ability to manage change, demonstrate strong time management skills, and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to team efforts and achieve related results as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining technical knowledge through educational workshops and reviewing relevant publications.
