This pivotal role encompasses various aspects of learning and development, including sales training, methodologies, and quality audits.

Job Overview

As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training courses for our sales team. Your primary goal will be to collaborate with sales staff to identify challenges and maximize their effectiveness through tailored training programs. This includes creating learning materials, monitoring performance post-training, and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Training Needs Analysis: Assess daily training requirements within the sales team.
  • Curriculum Development: Create and deliver engaging training programs and a comprehensive sales handbook.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate training for both new and existing sales personnel.
  • Innovate Training Techniques: Develop new approaches to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather trainee feedback to identify challenges and improve training processes.
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze trainee performance and generate actionable insights.
  • Support Hiring: Assist in the recruitment process for sales positions.
  • Liaison with External Trainers: Coordinate with external trainers and the Sales Manager.
  • Training Material Management: Maintain and update training records and materials.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends and demands in the corporate sales environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a Sales Training Specialist, Corporate Sales Trainer, or similar role.
  • Certifications: Professional sales training certifications (e.g., Certified Inside Sales Professional - CISP, Certified Professional Sales Person - CPSP) are preferred.
  • Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of the sales process and best practices.
  • E-Learning Proficiency: Experience with e-learning platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Program Design: Capability to design effective sales training programs.
  • Performance Evaluation: Experience measuring employee performance.
  • Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate others to enhance their skills.
  • Coaching and Sales Skills: Outstanding coaching and sales techniques.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and customer service skills.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
